Play Time!

Do you desire to break out of the adult, linear, problem-solution mindset? PLAY.

When adults play daily , they experience a reduction in stress, an increase in creativity, and overall well-being. We reactivate dormant portions of our brain we no longer use as grown-ups.

In the land of play, we make connections we wouldn’t normally make. We see things in new ways. Play can boost our creativity, heighten our mood, make us laugh, and can engage us in the world in ways that regular “adult” life often doesn’t.

When you fall out of playfulness, stop play a game or watch a funny movie/skit.

Here are some ways you can add more play to your life:

DanceDance! Do it with people, do it by yourself – but just do it! Find trending dance tutorials or trending dance workouts on YouTube or Google Dance Classes Near Me and get moving.
ToysToys tap into nostalgia, creativity, and a sense of playfulness should be in your environment to promote play. A Rubik’s Cube in the kitchen, Legos on your desk, building and model kits, puzzles, and classic board games encourage you to play as your day progresses.
DogsPlaying everyday with my rambunctious dog Alfie brings out the child in me. Dogs love to jump and frolic. Even watching them play, brings joy to your heart.
